FULL-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY - IN PRODUCTION
Niu Forever invites you into the heart of Hawai'i, where the coconut tree embodies resilience, food sovereignty, and cultural reawakening. See how communities come together to protect genetic diversity, combat invasive species, and find healing through their deep connection to land and each other.
AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY
The grassroots movement "Niu Now" is on a mission to restore the "niu," or coconut, as a fundamental food crop on O'ahu, Hawai'i and spread the Indigenous wisdom of "aloha 'āina:" loving land and serving people.

“I believe in the power of story to awaken us to our need for relationship: to each other, to the land, to our past and future generations.
